June 15, 2007. Peggy Brennan, a descendant of William Nelson Mills (Jr.) 1783-1815 of Alexandria, VA, sent photos of six artifacts handed down through generations in her family. Currently we only have three of these photographs.

3) Presidential appointment of William Nelson Mills to Justice of the Peace of Alexandria, VA for a term of 5 years, signed by President Martin VanBuren and dated 1840.
